The Friends of Foreman (FOF) is an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization which raises funds for Edwin. G. Foreman College & Career Academy. It has 501(c)(3) status, so donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.  

Established in 2021

Friends of Foreman was incorporated in 2021 by a group of Foreman faculty members with the goal of bringing in support from parents and the surrounding community. We represent a variety of stakeholders at Foreman, including educators, staff, alumni, and community members interested in Foreman’s well-being as an academic institution and determined to work to help Foreman programs gain access to needed resources and funding. 

Our Goal

To raise funds that support programs at Edwin G. Foreman College & Career Academy in order to help enrich our children's education and make Foreman a thriving community.

Dr. Corey Blake
President

My name is Corey Blake and I am both a member of the local community and a music teacher at Foreman College and Career Academy. Along with a few other staff members, we formed Friends of Foreman with a vision of providing more funding as a way to support and create more opportunities for the students at our school. We hope you will join us and help make Foreman the amazing school it should be!​

Vice President

I am a former FCCA graduate, former Battalion commander C/LT, a current and active JROTC volunteer for 2 years, head track coach, and now happy to add Vice President of Friends of Foreman. I can't wait to make our great school even greater and in more creative ways. I hope to see you there!

Dr. Melanie Lopez

Dr. Lopez is a Special Education Cluster teacher at Foreman and has worked at the school for nearly 19 years. She is one of the founding members of the Friends of Foreman organization.​
